HapticNav® is a haptic navigation application, supplemented with an optional HapticNav® wristband, designed to provide guidance to your destination through subtle vibrations, eliminating the reliance on visual or audio cues. Employing our patented Haptic Corridor™, the application functions akin to a compass, furnishing directional feedback based on your orientation. Within the Haptic Corridor™, vibrations are imperceptible; however, as you steer away from the correct heading, vibrations gradually intensify. Notably, in 2017, Wayband® etched its mark in history by facilitating the participation of the first visually impaired individual in the NYC marathon independently, without the assistance of a sighted guide.
